Kauai Destination Wedding at Waimea Plantation Cottages
Britten + Chris had a magical wedding that is beyond words. The weather, the setting, the people, the nature. It felt like everyone received a blessing that day at the Waimea Plantation Cottages. The setting, on the southern part of Kauai, Hawaii was at an old sugar plantation facing the ocean. The enormous bayan trees towered the grounds and presided over the couple’s nuptials. Rev. Jade officiated and sang lovely Hawaiian blessings. The birds chirped in the tree above, the ocean lapped the shores and Cori strummed his guitar. For portraits, we were able to take a short drive to Waimea Canyon and the Red Dirt Falls for some epic images and drone footage. Britten and Chris could not have chosen a more romantic, organic location to celebrate their love in front of their loved ones. It was such an honor to have witnessed this day and capture it for them. Kudos to the most fabulous vendor team including Heather from Tie the Knot Hawaii,
